The mission of Building Resources in Disadvantaged Groups Through Economics and Empowerment (BRIDGE) is to serve as a gateway of information and resources to people who may be in disadvantaged positions as a result of race, gender, or socioeconomic status. BRIDGE is committed to financial empowerment and bringing resources into the community. BRIDGE was created to serve the Thomasville, NC community and surrounding areas.
Recent Grants Awarded to BRIDGE
Special thanks to the The Thomasville Community Foundation for their grant to suppport the Business and Finance Academy for Entrepreneurs in partnership with The Thomasville Area Chamber of Commerce. Special thanks also goes out to the Truliant Foundation, the Winston-Salem Foundation, and Black Philanthropy Initiative for their grants to support the financial literacy programs provided to Project Re-Entry participants at Forsyth Correctional Facility in Winston-Salem.

2024 Jessie and Ollie Johnson Memorial Scholarship Recipient
Congratulations to Kianna Norman the 2024 recipient of the Jessie and Ollie Johnson Memorial Scholarship. She will attend the University of North Carolina-Charlotte and plans to major in psychology.
