The mission of Building Resources in Disadvantaged Groups Through Economics and Empowerment (BRIDGE) is to serve as a gateway of information and resources to people who may be in disadvantaged positions as a result of race, gender, or socioeconomic status. BRIDGE is committed to financial empowerment and bringing resources into the community. BRIDGE was created to serve the Thomasville, NC community and surrounding areas.
Applications for the Jessie and Ollie Johnson Memorial Scholarship will be available soon. The scholarship is available to high school seniors that attend Thomasville High School.
BRIDGE recently received the following grants:
$1,000 from the Reynolds American Foundation
$1500 grant from The Thomasville Community Foundation
$1,000 from Truliant Federal Credit Union
Contratulations to Roderick Gladney for receiving his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Eshelman School of Pharmacy. Dr. Gladney was the first recipient of the Jessie and Ollie Johnson Memorial Scholarship in 2011.
