Wendy Alvarado 2013 Recipient of the Jessie and Ollie Johnson Memorial Scholarship
I will always be thankful for the Jessie and Ollie Johnson Memorial scholarship that I received a few years ago. I am doing great, I transferred to UNC-Chapel Hill to pursue my Mathematics degree. I also had the opportunity to travel on two study abroad trips a few years ago. One was in Italy and the other one in South Korea. I will continue to accomplish my goals, and one day I would like to provide other students with the support that you have provided for me.
